The Integrated Stereo Amplifier marks a first foray into home audio for Hammock Hill Audio Tools, bringing to table our distinct combination of streamlined, flexible feature sets and unrelenting commitment to high quality audio reproduction. The circuit was designed with the goal of transparently amplifying sources, while providing tone shaping functionality to suit the needs of your speakers and room. Multiple input sources, including BlueTooth connectivity, can be selected from the front panel.
We are excited to offer this product as fully customizable and built to order! Choose your case, knobs, front panel look, and connector types for a bespoke solution to your home audio amplifier needs.
Pictured here is an example with the circuit housed in a wooden chassis with engraved and printed front and rear faceplates. All wood elements were hand cut, sanded, stained, and clear coated for a sleek, organic, and elegant look.
Enjoying your favorite music should be about connecting with the message, taking in the textures, colors, and shapes, and resonating with it in its purest form. We designed the tone controls to offer options for quick shaping so you can spend more time listening, not fiddling with knobs. The tone controls provide 10dB of cut/boost at 20Hz and 20kHz, and due to their shallow slope allow shaping of wide frequency ranges at a time.
The input selector switch enables users to select between 4 sources. A pair of line level (-10dBv) inputs are available via jacks on the rear panel. There are also jacks for input from a turntable which does not have a built-in phono preamp. The Integrated Stereo Amp has an onboard phono preamp, which applies a frequency curve suitable for playback of vinyl records. Finally, BlueTooth connectivity is made possible by an onboard circuit, allowing you to stream directly from a device to your speakers.
A sealed Bourns potentiometer provides control of volume from completely silent to maximum.
Top quality, high precision and low tolerance parts are what makes this design tick. WIMA film capacitors, low noise opamps, and low distortion drivers are just some of the components we leverage for top performance.
The use of an extruded aluminum heat sink keeps the driver chips at their ideal operating temperature for optimal signal reproduction.
